Soccer Season Winds Down

The Stingers will finish their soccer season on Saturday, Octoboer 31.  It has been a great year of fun and fitness for our teams, with many students playing soccer for the first time.  We are grateful to our parents who sacrificed their Saturdays this fall, and our students who represented us well!

Students Celebrate Red Ribbon Week

Fesitivities for the annual Red Ribbon Week celebration began during morning assembly today,  Monday, October 26th.  Students started a week of themed activities dressed as their heros.  Sixth and seventh grade students dressed as drug-fighting superheros that they had created.  The week will continue with dress up days including wear all red on Tuesday, Crazy Hair [...]

Students Learn the Value of Waste Not, Want Not

Students grades 3rd-7th enjoyed multiple lessons on waste not, want not using pumpkins.  Students began with  pumpkins which they carved into hallowen decorations, saving the seeds and guts.  The pumkins insides were then used to make pumpkin pie and the seeds were roasted and seasoned.  The students and teachers alike learned that making the most [...]
