Students Collect Money for Haiti Earthquake Victims

Students participated in a “Penny War” during Catholic Schools Week in order to raise money for victims of the earthquakes in Haiti.  During the week-long contest students collected 51, 298 pennies and various other donations for a total collection of $685 which will be sent to Cross International Relief Services.  Congratulations to the 4th/5th grade classroom who won a free dress day by collecting the most pennies, with a grand total of 14,664.
